Our Values

At Sitio Meraki, the well-being and safety of our guests are at the heart of everything we do. Our team is committed to preserving, protecting, and enhancing the natural and cultural richness of the region.

We offer an ecotourism experience that is respectful of the environment and biodiversity through sustainable practices rooted in a deep respect for all living things

Our story

The Meraki adventure began in 2020 with the acquisition of a 40 hectares property, first imagined as a personal refuge- a place to recharge far from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Very soon, the exceptional quality of life, the sense of well-being on-site, and the harmony of the surroundings sparked a desire to share it with others; The sitio was then made available on Airbnb, offering guests the chance to experience this unique setting

Since then, we have undertaken many improvements: renovating the house, enhancing safety, and creating more comfortable spaces- always with the intention of preserving the site’s authenticity and simplicity

Today, Meraki is supported by a dedicated team of five people/

  • Serge, founder and guardian of the project
  • Erlan and Evandro, who care for the house, the land, the crops, and the animals
  • Alineia and Bruna, who welcomes the guests, handle the administration, and ensure the comfort of our visitors.

Beyond accomodation, Meraki is also a space for conscious creation. We have put in place trout farming and beehives which produce exceptional organic products, and many other projects are still taking shape. Each day we strive to create value- for nature, for our guests, and for a more harmonious world. As the name Meraki suggests, everything is done with hearth and soul
